Yesterday we sent out an email for the synchronized meditation that will take place tomorrow. Millions of people will stop for 15 minutes and send their love and prayers to people suffering from recent violence, and we hope you'll join us. Wherever you are in the world, just stop and feel the energy of peace, then unite with the energy of everyone focusing at the same moment. Ask for the peace to extend to the families of the black men who have been killed in recent days, AND the police that lost their lives in Dallas.
Many people have resisted using the phrase "Black Lives Matter" instead of "All Lives Matter." Though it's true that every life is equally important, our African American brothers and sisters are in need of our love and compassion. To simply say "All Lives Matter" is to dismiss their pain rather than healing the divisions that exist between us. Let's lay rhetoric aside and join together in love. No one is left out. We are all included. Please join us and send your love and peace into the grid tomorrow.
Nov. 5th World Synchronized Meditation
Guess what the focus of our November Synchronized Meditation will be! I will be at the Celebrate Your Life conference in Scottsdale that weekend, and there will be a massive number of people tuning in to send out energy and light to the US Presidential election that will take place a few days later. The focus of the vigil is not on a particular candidate or on any particular agenda. The focus is on the HIGHEST GOOD being done, regardless of our personal desire.
This is going to be SO POWERFUL, and we hope you will join us. If you can join us LIVE for the Celebrate Your Life conference, you'll be able to spend the entire weekend with some of the brightest lights in this movement. If you want more information on the conference CLICK HERE.
How do we change the world? By taking a stand for compassion, one person at a time. Join Deepak Chopra, Gabrielle Bernstein, Ismael Cala, and more than 500,000 people from nearly every country in the world, as we come together online on Saturday, July 11th, with one common intention – to turn around the rising tide of disconnection in the world and, through renewed empathy and love, reconnect to what truly matters.
This email is brought to you by Gregg Braden.
Dear Friend,
On July 11, more than 1,500 people will gather in Carlsbad, California, for a profoundly important event that will be live-streamed to 500,000 people in more than 100 countries around the world.
They’re gathering to send a powerful message and shift the collective consciousness of our world toward compassion—a shift that world-renowned expert on mind-body medicine,Deepak Chopra, is calling the most radical and necessary movement of our time.
What Deepak and everyone at the Chopra Center recognize is that there is an epidemic in the West and in the world – a pervasive feeling of loneliness, isolation and depression.
In the busyness of your daily life, how often do you stop and ask a neighbor how they’re doing? How available are you – even when you want to be – to friends and family members who need support? And how many times have you hurriedly passed by and forgotten a stranger in need?
We live in a world where one in every four people feels that they have no one to talk to if they are in pain or suffering, and a large number feel disconnected from those around them...all because we have forgotten that one of the most important and consistent sources of our own happiness and fulfillment is compassion.
If you’re feeling a subtle, yet persistent sense of separateness and yearn for a sense of connectedness instead, you’re not alone.
It’s a restlessness we’re all feeling that Deepak asserts is actually a critical calling to evolve and to rediscover our common truth—that we are all one.
On Saturday,July 11th, you can join Deepakand the dynamic, bestselling author who Oprah Winfrey named “a next-generation thought leader,” Gabrielle Bernstein – along with musical guest and humanitarian, Trevor Hall, whose songs have been featured in movies and on television and regularly top the iTunes singer-songwriter charts, and acclaimed CNN en Español anchor, Ismael Cala, for this landmark event.
Deepak will lead a groundbreaking, one-hour conversation about compassion, featuring an exclusive, 15-minute, guided meditation and a special musical performance.
There is no charge for you to participate remotely (via streaming video) and even ask questions of Deepak and Gabrielle using social media and the event hashtag #IAMCOMPASSION.
