Dear All,
Here are the video recaps from last week.
I’ve been working a bit on “hyping” the issue of Swiss Neutrality in some of the videos below, among others with former Swiss Foreign Minister and two-times president of the confederation, Micheline Calmy-Rey. The reason is that we’ll have an important neutrality referendum to vote on this September 27th, so I’m using the channel a bit for this (very) Swiss topic that is so dear to my heart. Fingers crossed that people will say “YES” to the neutrality initiative end of this month.
Of the four videos below, I’d mostly recommend watching Prof. Jeffrey Sachs and his take on the new shape of the multipolar order. He is one of the most forceful critics of US hegemony, and I’m so grateful he keeps spiking about it!
I hope all is well. Stay neutralist.
Cheers,
Pascal
NATO’s Crazy Long Term Planning for Proxy Wars | Stas Krapivnik
Saturday, August 29, 2026
Stas Krapivnik contends that Iranian sanctions have not toppled Tehran; Iran’s 47-year pressure spurred self-reliance and a growing industrial base, aided by a Eurasian bloc with Russia and China. He criticizes U.S. cycle-driven rhetoric, notes China’s restraint and counter-sanctions power, and warns of nuclear risks in any Iran conflict.
NATO’s New Plans To Destroy Russia | Prof. Jeffrey Sachs
Monday, August 31, 2026
Jeffrey Sachs argues the Ukraine war is a long-running American proxy war against Russia, driven by NATO expansion and U.S. primacy. He cites Brzezinski and NATO’s promise not to enlarge, and advocates Ukrainian neutrality, no further NATO expansion, and ending U.S. wars to avert nuclear escalation.
🚨 Next Escalation: USA Out of Options, Iran’s New Zero-Tolerance Strategy | Dr. Arta Moeini
Thursday, September 03, 2026
Dr. Arta Moeini analyzes the Iran–US war after seven months, detailing Tehran’s zero-tolerance deterrence, the Hormuz chokepoint, and US strategies like the D-Day naval blockade. He outlines two Iranian camps—security-first escalation versus pragmatic deterrence—predicts protracted, potentially disproportionate war, and previews the Reclaiming America First initiative and BRICS/SCO dynamics.
Notre Plus Grand Dilemme: La Neutralité | L’Ex-Présidente Suisse, Micheline Calmy-Rey
Thursday, September 03, 2026
Micheline Calmy-Rey outlines neutrality as layers: the Hague droit de la neutralité for inter-state conflicts and a policy shaping credibility abroad. She discusses sanctions, UN law, and Ukraine/Iraq, argues against enshrining sanctions in a constitutional neutrality clause, and calls for interpretation including civil conflicts and arms export controls.
